The transition moments between one collection and another are always difficult. I've been at the computer for days putting the clothes online for tomorrow evening.

I have this obsession with order: before we can get our hands on the new we have to work and finish the fabric that will no longer be there 😂 maybe he is surprised. But for me it is the only way to avoid the risk of “the old” losing value.

What happens in industry? Yes, exactly. Exactly. If you go too fast, there is a devaluation. Then you find yourself with a few meters left between your feet and you don't know what to do with them. And it costs less to "get rid of" it than to work with it. It seems absurd... but it's true.

This is where one of my fixed rules comes from. Work with everything that is left over. (I drive the girls crazy during transition periods.) Why do I dig up scraps of fabric everywhere with the request to understand WHICH PATTERN IN WHICH SIZE IS PERFECT TO FINISH THIS PIECE?

It is meticulous work, much longer than ordinary work on long pieces where a missing centimetre is never a problem.

You have to know the models, the measurements and understand by eye which item to place where. You have to make choices (which on the orders have already been made by you ♥️) about what will be liked, etc.

We would also really like to work on the summer, do new things but NO! Janne has her rules 😂
